The 5th Toronto Dragon Festival, held annually on the first weekend of September, is a major cultural event in Ontario that attracts a diverse audience, including both mainstream and multicultural visitors. The festival integrates various elements such as visual arts, music, food, interactive activities, and entertainment, making it a comprehensive cultural celebration.

Taking place at Nathan Phillips Square, a central hub for political, cultural, economic, and tourism activities in Toronto, the festival showcases the richness of Chinese culture as a key part of Canada’s cultural diversity. This year, over 50 Chinese and Canadian performing arts organizations will participate, with more than 80 vendor booths. The event is expected to attract over 65,000 visitors.

Since its inception in 2018, the Toronto Dragon Festival has received positive feedback and enthusiastic participation. The festival features over 100 high-quality programs, including continuous live performances, a variety of local and international cuisines, cultural exhibits, a kids’ zone, fine arts displays, martial arts demonstrations, calligraphy, literature, and Hanfu costumes.
