From July 7 to July 11, the very first CCHAC Little Chef Summer Camp was held at Markham City Cafe (101 Towncentre Blvd). With 11 enthusiastic participants aged 8 to 12, this five-day culinary journey offered a rich mix of food education, hands-on cooking, and fun outdoor activities.


Each day included one featured food experience and an hour of guided outdoor play, creating a well-rounded and unforgettable summer camp for our young chefs.



7 月 7 日至 11 日,第一届 CCHAC 小小厨师夏令营Markham City Cafe(101 Towncentre Blvd) 成功举办。本次夏令营共有 11 位 8 至 12 岁的小朋友参与,大家在五天里一边学习烹饪知识,一边结交新朋友、参与户外活动,度过了一个快乐而充实的夏天。


每天,孩子们都会参与一项主题餐饮体验活动,并在老师的带领下进行约一小时的户外游戏,在动手与放松中收获快乐与成长。


From July 7 to July 11, the very first CCHAC Little Chef Summer Camp was held at Markham City Cafe (101 Towncentre Blvd). With 11 enthusiastic participants aged 8 to 12, this five-day culinary journey offered a rich mix of food education, hands-on cooking, and fun outdoor activities.

7 月 7 日至 11 日,第一届 CCHAC 小小厨师夏令营Markham City Cafe(101 Towncentre Blvd) 成功举办。本次夏令营共有 11 位 8 至 12 岁的小朋友参与,大家在五天里一边学习烹饪知识,一边结交新朋友、参与户外活动,度过了一个快乐而充实的夏天。


每天,孩子们都会参与一项主题餐饮体验活动,并在老师的带领下进行约一小时的户外游戏,在动手与放松中收获快乐与成长。

On the first day, campers learned how to roll their own sushi using ingredients like imitation crab, cucumber, and other colorful fillings. In the afternoon, they explored the world of fruit by cutting various fruits and assembling them into vibrant fruit skewers.



夏令营的第一天,小朋友们学习并亲手制作了寿司,选用了蟹柳、黄瓜等食材,体验了动手制作的乐趣。下午进入水果主题,小朋友们练习切各种水果,并将它们用木签串成五颜六色的水果串,既健康又好看。

Tuesday was all about pizza! Each camper topped their own pizza dough with favorite ingredients such as pineapple, sausage, ham, cheese, green peppers, and mushrooms. Later, they visited a nearby NoFrills grocery store for a practical lesson in reading food labels and selecting the right products. The day ended with a refreshing smoothie-making session using fruit and yogurt.



第二天,小朋友们用生披萨面团自己动手制作了“专属披萨”,自由搭配菠萝、香肠、火腿、芝士、青椒、蘑菇等丰富配料。中午,老师带领大家前往 NoFrills 超市,进行一场实地教学,学习如何挑选合适的商品、阅读食品标签等。下午的课程是水果酸奶冰沙,小朋友们一边制作一边品尝,度过了充实的下午!

Wednesday morning featured a special guest instructor who taught the children how to make cream puffs in flavors like matcha and vanilla cream. For lunch, the kids fried their own chicken and fries, and even took charge of serving—managing the entire meal service themselves. In the afternoon, they baked cupcakes in a variety of flavors, with many campers proudly saving their creations to share with their families.



第三天上午,我们邀请了客座老师,带领大家制作抹茶、奶油口味的泡芙,香气四溢。中午,小朋友们亲手炸制薯条和炸鸡,并分工合作完成了整个午餐发放流程,体验了一把“餐厅服务”的感觉。下午则是甜点时间,大家做了各式纸杯蛋糕,很多孩子自豪地将自己的作品带回家与父母分享。

Thursday was dedicated to fun and exploration. In the morning, campers DIY their own sandwiches before heading to a nearby water park for splashing fun. For lunch, they enjoyed their handmade meals together. In the afternoon, they learned to make drinks including passion fruit tea and chocolate-based beverages. Campers also took turns role-playing as bubble tea shop employees and customers—experiencing firsthand what it’s like to work behind the counter.



周四是孩子们最期待的“出游日”。早上大家动手 DIY 自己的三明治,中午前往附近的公园尽情戏水。午餐时间,大家享用了亲手准备的三明治以及其他零食。下午则变身“奶茶小店员”,在老师指导下制作百香果茶、巧克力饮品,并轮流扮演顾客与店员,进行点单与服务流程,亲身体验柜台后的工作。

Day 5: Magic Noodle Workshop & Graduation Ceremony

On the final day, professional staff and ramen chefs from Magic Noodle led a special workshop on ramen, teaching kids how to identify different noodle types and sharing the story behind this beloved dish. Campers were then treated to delicious beef ramen for lunch. The afternoon was more relaxed, with a movie screening and a second chance to make bubble tea for those who loved it. The camp concluded with a graduation ceremony, where each child received a personalized certificate presented by Magic Noodle. This certificate also includes a special 10% discount at Magic Noodle locations for a limited time.



最后一天,我们邀请了大槐树的工作人员和专业拉面师傅,带来一场生动有趣的拉面体验课。小朋友们不仅了解了不同面条的种类,还现场享用了热腾腾的牛肉拉面。下午是轻松的观影时光,我们为喜爱茶饮的孩子们提供了第二次制作珍珠奶茶的机会。 在结营仪式上,每位孩子都获得了由大槐树颁发的小小拉面师证书。凭此证书,孩子们可在大槐树各门店享受独特的九折优惠。
