In April 2018, the Chinese Cuisine and Hospitality Association of Canada collaborated with China’s leading foodservice media platform Canyin Laoban Insights to officially establish the Dayu Culinary Arts and Business Academy. Backed by support from multiple institutional partners and driven by the philosophy of “teaching one to fish is better than giving a fish,” the Academy was founded as the first all-rounded talent training platform in North America grounded in foodservice professionalism.

The Academy aims to promote Chinese culinary culture and industry advancement through a specialized curriculum that blends cultural literacy, business development, restaurant management, and hands-on culinary training. It is dedicated to nurturing high-level, well-rounded professionals equipped with both technical expertise and real-world competency.
